How long have you been illustrating and what made you start?
I have been illustrating professionally for about 23 years, but my interest in drawing began when I was about 10 years old. At that age I moved to a new place and met a couple of kids in school who enjoyed drawing, later I developed an interest in comic books and that motivated me to keep drawing all through my childhood.
How long have you been illustrating and what made you start?
What inspires me is odd, interesting, and amazing things. I really enjoy Science Fiction and learning about new discoveries about space and the workings of the universe. Additionally I really enjoy seeing and being inspired by other people's incredible artwork.
Where is your favourite place to illustrate?
Most of the work is do is done on a computer, so my favourite place to work is in my studio.
What are your illustrating/colouring material essentials?
I enjoy sketching a lot, so I usually have a sketchpad and I enjoy drawing with ball point pens. When I am doing finished artwork, I work on a computer using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet. I am intimidated by trying to do finished art with paints, and pencils, so I really enjoy the edit ability and forgiving nature of digital art.
What’s the piece of work that you’re most proud of or enjoyed doing the most?
I am really proud of the Colouring Books I have done. These were the first projects I undertook for myself and was able to maintain my interest in them through completion.
