How long have you been illustrating and what made you start?
My mother is an art teacher, so growing up, I was surrounded by art supplies and and an encouragement to use them.
Where do you get your inspiration?
Ideas just come to me, sometimes from nature, other times from dreams, but overall they just pop into my head completely uninvited!
Where is your favourite place to illustrate?
I'm quite limited in space, so don't have a favourite place, but rather the only place where I can paint is my kitchen.
What are your illustrating/colouring material essentials?
I change my medium quite often, but the one I always come back to is oil painting on wood panels.
What’s the piece of work that you’re most proud of or enjoyed doing the most?
My favourite pieces are my recent oil paintings created in imaginative realism style.
