We’re thrilled to share the news that last week Colouring Heaven was awarded the prestigious title of International Magazine of the Year at the National Magazine Awards 2023! It’s a tremendous achievement for us, and we couldn’t be prouder.
Since our launch in 2015, Colouring Heaven has continually flourished, experiencing remarkable success with consistent sales growth. Throughout this journey, we’ve remained steadfast in upholding our brand’s quality and ensuring an unparalleled experience for our colourists. Our careful planning and thoughtful strategies have allowed us to make bold decisions that have contributed to the brand’s growth. We’ve invested in expanding our distribution channels and enhancing our product, all while staying true to our core values.
In 2022, we reached new milestones that filled us with excitement – we saw our highest-selling issue ever, making waves internationally and expanded our presence in North America, achieving our highest number of stores distributed in the region. Moreover, we proudly launched local language editions in Swedish and Finnish, with Värien Maailma now reigning as the leading international colouring magazine in the Finnish market!
During this exciting period, we had the pleasure of showcasing more exclusive designs than ever before. We collaborated with a diverse group of 34 talented artists from all around the globe, including countries like Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the US, Taiwan, Poland, Australia, Chile, Finland, Istanbul, Ukraine, and Mexico. This international representation truly embodies the best of colouring art from around the world.
We also launched our YouTube channel, created with our international audience in mind, aiming to provide valuable content such as tutorial videos demonstrating how to bring specific designs to life from our latest issue or offering inspiring speed-colouring sessions. One of our most popular tutorial to date was created by a talented member of our Friends of Colouring Heaven Facebook Group, where they beautifully coloured a design from our Winglings Special issue, which showcased all-new and exclusive designs based on the original artwork by renowned US fantasy artist, Jasmine Becket-Griffith.
